Individuals should sign into their Autodesk Account or education site. if I click run it changes by license to trial and when activating by signing in I start at the beginning. Autodesk provides download and install instructions both for individuals and for administrators. (which seems all good)īut then if I go to change license type and click entre a serial number It shows a count down from 30 days until my license expires unless I enter a code (which I did not get because the activation is by sign in). When I go to manage license it says the license currently in use is my one-year student license. I signed in on Revit and I can use it but it does not say student version along the top. On my Autodesk account, it says the method of activating my student license in signing in. I installed Revit from the education access download but was not provided with a serial number and product key (I have since learned that since Aug 4th you don't need a key to activate the software).
